PAYMENT
A 50% deposit of the reservation amount is due at the time of booking. The remainder 50% is due 60 days prior to check-in date.
Cancellation fee
Free cancellation up to 60 days prior to check-in date. Within 60 days of check-in, 50% deposit is non-refundable but may be redeemed as a credit in the following season.
This payment will be by credit card and incur a 3.75% merchant fee.
1. CHECK -IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is strictly from 3pm to 8pm. Check-out time is strictly 10.00 am. We request that guests fully vacate the bedroom by this time. Belongings cannot be stored. Late check-out is subject to availability, must be pre-arranged and may incur additional charges. Transfer to the station must be pre-arranged the night before to depart on the morning train. Day of departure cannot be a ski day. BlackCat snow gear pickup must be pre-arranged and picked up the night before departure (allow 48hrs for airport storage).
2. VEHICLES
We provide adequate parking, however we are not responsible for clearing the snow on your car. You will need to clear on and around your car to use each day and provide tools in the carpark for you to use.
3. TRANSFERS
We provide transfers daily upon request. You can prearrange a train station pickup and drop off, transfer to Akakura Kanko or Ikenotaira Ski Resorts. All other transfers are subject to charges. Transfers are strictly 7:30am to 9:30am and pickups are 2:30pm to 4:30pm only. Dinner transfers can be prearranged at a charge and guests arrange a taxi upon return to the lodge.
4. NON-GUEST VISITORS
All non-guest visitors must be met by a named guest and signed in at reception before accessing the bar and dining room areas, only. The named guest is responsible for the visitor while onsite and liable for any damages, and room fees that the visitor incurs.
5. RENTAL EQUIPMENT
It is your responsibility to return all rental snow gear the afternoon prior to check-out.
6. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Myoko Forest Lodge strongly recommends that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but limited to: medical expenses due to snow activities; loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal luggage or possessions.
7. ALCOHOL
We allow moderate, responsible drinking onsite in our communal areas. We provide reasonably priced drinks at the bar and the vending machine. The bar closes at 10pm and there is a quiet period at the lodge till 6am.
8. DRINKING AND EATING
Drinking and eating is not recommended in rooms. We provide a communal fridge, cutlery and crockery for you to use, free of charge.
9. SMOKING
Smoking is not permitted inside any part of the building; this includes the use of vapes. There are designated areas for smokers outside the building.
